I’ve enjoyed three great careers: teaching, business, and writing, and I’ve been lucky to live among great people.

For many years my husband and I lived on a hillside farm in West Virginia where we raised two children, vegetagble gardens, and many dogs, cats, and farm animals.

I love books, art, and music. I love cooperative communities, West Virginia’s rugged terrain, and the history and culture of Appalachia’s hardy settlers. I love hearing from readers, so let me know what you think of the Mountain Women Series.
