Whether you read your ebooks on a Kindle or Kindle app for tablet or phone, there’s new help for loading files sent to you by someone other than Amazon.
It’s a free app from Amazon, called “Send to Kindle,” and you install it on your computer or other device.
Why use “Send to Kindle”?
Sometimes I have a document, maybe one sent to me as a PDF, that I’d rather read on my Kindle instead of on my computer screen. I also occasionally share my documents with other people and do this by sending the documents to their Kindles. Maybe you have used email to send a document to your Kindle address. (You can find your address in “Manage my Kindle.”)
There’s now an easier way to SEND TO KINDLE. It’s an app you can download free from Amazon and keep on your computer or other device.
To download the app, visit Send to Kindle. For more information, visit Learn How to Use Your Send to Kindle Email Address or go to Learn About Sending Documents to Your Kindle Library. |

Simply drag a file to the “Drop files here” block, then choose your destination in the Delivery options.
